Angkas driver, sa sobrang ganda ng pasahero, sinauli ang wallet

Raffy Tulfo In Action published a video in YouTube about an Angkas driver who returned the wallet of his passenger. The wallet was found on the road after the passenger alighted off the motorcycle.

The angkas driver immediately went to Raffy Tulfo to return the wallet. such a very honest man. Quality of a person which you can't find in most people these days. We salute you manong! Watch the video below:

Anti-drug Czar VP Robredo, ipagbabawal ang pagdala ng armas ng pulis sa operasyon: SATIRE

The newly appointed Anti-drug Czar Vice President Leni Robredo once again a product of laughing stock in social media. In a Facebook post-obviously a satire because the Vice President did not say those words-from Merlitte Cagampang. The meme depicts some words Robredo said in a speech or from a press conference. She said:

Bilang co chairman ng icad, agad Kong ipagbabawal sa lahat ng kapulisan Ang pagdala ng baril oanumang sandata during raid and police operation nang sagayon masiguro ko na walang namatay na suspek. Bagamat may mga di maiiwasan na may malagas sa ating kapulisan, tutulong Po Ang gobyerno sa pagpapalibing sa kanila.

Polisiya ni VP Robredo sa Drug War: Hugs Not Bullets, ikinigalit ng Chicago Tribune

There is an apparent differences now between the current administration's stand on it's war on drugs and the recent statement of VP Robredo on her policy in her new position as co chairperson of the Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD). 

While the Duterte admin is all tough on it's task to minimize, if not eradicate the illegal drugs in the country, the newly appointed anti drug Czar is going in the opposite direction.

Blogger RJ Nieto of Thinking Pinoy, expressed his sentiments on what he heard about Robredo's policy on the war on drugs, the hugs not bullets policy. This is after reading The Chicago Tribune article that says about this particular policy that is now that of the Mexico President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador. 

The writer himself disagrees with the statement of the Mexican President saying that war will not work. 

This even with the recent gun shooting accident that killed 6 children of one family after one Mob family mistakenly identified SUV cars as owned by an enemy of the Mob family Mormon, the LeBaron family.

The incident porabably initiated the Mexican President into thinking more casualties and more war will take place if the government will also wage war against the gangsters, wherein it's exactly the opposite in the minds of many, including the writer of the article by The Chicago Tribune. The more the government should wage war and have an ironhand in dealing with Mexico's problem on illegal drugs.

This then fumed RJ Nieto, comparing VP Robredo soft and lax policy against people linked in illegal drugs, the hard criminals. Here is RJ Nieto' s post on Facebook, looks to be very serious:

"WILL THE DRUG CZARINA PLEASE STAND UP?

The American newspaper Chicago Tribune's editorial board, in its 05 November 2019 editorial, said the Mexican "Hugs not Bullets" policy is not working, strongly suggesting to authorities that a much tougher, much harsher stance against Drug Cartels is needed [http://bit.ly/2NwdXpq].

Drug Czarina VP Leni Robredo, care to comment?

EAT ALL YOU CAN AT CRABS BUFFET, DAVAO

Eat All You Can At Crabs Buffet, Davao

I'm not too excited when I hear the phrase 'eat all you can' or 'buffet' which means you serve yourself at a restaurant to eat, with no limit. Here at the Crabs Buffet or Glamor Resto N Caterer Restaurant, Padre Gomez St, just around roxas avenue. But I'm not a fan of crabs, really. Because I'm lazy to open them. When using an instrument for eating meat it is for me an inconvenience. Because of my mother's invitation, I planned to eat only their seafood except crabs. I expected the fresh tuna kinilaw, seaweeds and other fish delicacies. When we arrived and started eating, I was disappointed. Even though I tried their crabs that were opened for me, I just did not like the sauce. Why is there a sauce? Crabs are eaten by hands, why should you dress the crab with sauce so thick your hands get messy and sticky. How can you eat them all you can? You'll have smelly hands. Nevermind. There are plenty of tissue on the table anyway.

Vietnam Pho In Davao At Little Nam

I went to this Vietnamese restaurant due to my curiosity. I heard they also offer Pho, so as to my own intrigue I came. What do they have that other Vietnamese restaurants don't. What is it they can offer? I arrived at around twelve noon. I remember about it was very humid weather when I ordered their Pho Special. Pho Special is the Vietnam Pho. it's just the name change, maybe because it's one marketing strategy to include the 'Special.' Sure is a sell out. I was amazed. It was exactly what I have expected. Really close to the authentic. Even though I have not been to Vietnam or have not eaten the real Pho, I know the taste because I know the ingredients and cook it at home. So I know how Pho tastes like. It was more authentic than I expected. Of course. It wouldn't be a Vietnamese restaurant if they are not experts in producing authentic pho. I loved it. The drawback is the price. It is way much expensive than any other Phos in Davao, I suppose. It's 288 Pesos that big bowl, excluding the VAT or valued added tax they added to the bill. It seems like I'm going to come back here. So far this is the best Pho I've tasted. A big Pho in a small Vietnamese restaurant called Little Nam. Probably derived fromm the word VietNam, country that Nam means, taste.

Just imagine we are in the 60's and Vietnam is still at war with the Americans in Saigon. Imagine too what the Philippines was like at those times. A little bit scary, maybe. But also maybe, it's a beautiful world to live in with some beautiful food to eat, especially when this has to do with the history of the Vietnamese refugees in the Philippines, specifically in Palawan. Vietnam Refugees in Palawan taught Palawenyos how to cook their ever-traditional staple food, the Vietnam Pho. Vietnam Pho is a beef broth delicacy topped with rice noodles, beef meat, mixed with some garnishes like the green onions, basil, monggo sprouts, corriandar, and chili garlic sauce. Imagine we are in Davao and this food has already been introduced to the Dabawenyos, let's say in the lates 60's. Maybe this is the scenario. Just maybe.
